The Medical Spanish Minor offers students the opportunity to develop the Spanish language skills and cultural awareness necessary for working with Spanish-speaking people in healthcare settings through a structured sequence of courses. While it complements majors in fields such as nursing, healthcare studies, exercise science, public health, psychology, social work, and communication disorders, the minor Is open to any student interested In gaining proficiency In conversational Spanish for health and human services. The Program will be comprised of 15 requires units in the field of Medical Spanish.
